The happines is still missing…
Filip Salaquarda has bad luck all time. In the German Recaro F3 cup he has already passed 3 racing weekends but all time with some problems. Everything started on the Hockenheimring. After great free practice the problem with low-quality tires occurred in the qualification (the tires are selected by lot). And then Tobias Schmoller edged Filip out in the second corner during Saturday’s race. The touch last was finished by subsequent accidental crash with Tobias Blattler. Filip stopped across the way and he was shot down by formula’s veteran Frank Bredeck. The Sunday’s race was impossible at a time, Fillip’s car had been so destroyed that the repair would needed more than just one night.
On the fast and dangerous circuit in Oschersleben Filip started with self-confidence. Within the first race Filip kept the place between the first best drivers. Car was absolutely great - he said after the race, but I started to had a problem with my shoulder. The pain was so horrible that it was impossible to concentrate for the fast, save drive and I was wishing only one thing: to get my car to the finish between first cars. My wish had come truth and I finished on the great 4th position. Next day was interested for all teams, weather has been changing all the time and everybody speculated about tyres. Some of Teams decided for the wet tyres and others kept on dry tyres. Fillip’s team decided for wet one but this decision turned out to be wrong. The surface of the circuit started to be dry after first few laps and Filip had to stop round in the box and next changing could started. It meant that Fillip fall down through all the grids, but he stop to fight against bad conditions. In the race in the city Assen started to rain in the middle of the main race. Everybody was expecting safety car, because they could to change their tyres. But the waiting was waste of time, the race still was continuing to 4th lap, and then the organizer sent the safety car between the rests of competitors. But it had already been late for Filip, because within the first few laps he had an accident. In the slow speed he crashed into the barrier. The happiness was still missing. In the Sunday’s race Filip hold the great 6th position then he was trying to beat for better place but in the one of the corners he had an accident again.
And how does Filip Salaquarda assess the running season? Of course, I’m not satisfied with the results, but we are still improving our self. The engineer form Rosberg team started to work for us and he is helping us especially me how to tune our car for the best. Now we are going to test on the Nurburgring circuit then within the pause we are going to race in F1 Historic Series in city Lauzitzring.
